The Pool

A film made with my three brothers in just 48 hours. It was part of New Zealand’s V48 Hour Film Competition. We placed third and were picked by Sir Peter Jackson himself for his Wild-card Award.

In order to prove the film was made in the 48 hour time period, when the clock started, we were instructed our film must be a road movie and had to include the following: a broken toy, a character named Sidney Mason who worked as a fabricator, a camera move called a dolly zoom, and the dialogue line “When you look at it that way”.
